HISTOFREEZER – PORTABLE CRYOSURGICAL UNIT – for removing benign skin lesions<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The HISTOFREEZER kit <\/b>– contains a spray filled with a gas mix – dimethyl ether, propane and isobutane, of different dimensions. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The evaporation of the gas produces a temperature of -55 \u00b0C.<\/span><\/p>\n

The action mechanism is based on the fact that different types of skin cells vary in sensitivity when frozen. <\/span><\/p>\n

The epidermal keratinocytes are often more sensitive when frozen than the collagen and fibroblasts network from the subjacent dermis. The keratinocytes necrosis leads to the appearance of a blister, vesicle.<\/span><\/p>\n

The complete healing will take place in 10-14 days, with spontaneous re-epithelialization, without leaving any scars on the skin. <\/span><\/p>\n

Treatments are done quickly, without local anesthesia, 1-4 treatments within 2 weeks.<\/span><\/p>\n

After unsealing the spray, attach the disposable individual applicator, start the device and apply on the affected area, the time depending on the lesion type, location and the patient’s skin.<\/span><\/p>\n

The use of HISTOFREEZER can only be done by doctors specializing in skin lesions (plastic surgeons and dermatologists)<\/span><\/p>\n

CONTRAINDICATIONS: patients with cryoglobulinemia;<\/span><\/p>\n

Cryotherapy can cause a painful, burning sensation in the skin, which the patient needs to be prevented in order to make treatment easier.<\/span><\/p>\n
