Botox-Dysport-Azzalure – are commercial names for botulinum toxin type A, produced by Clostridium Botulinum.<\/span><\/p>\n

Botulinum toxin is a tropism neurotoxin for acetylcholine molecules in the neuromotor plate; therefore, injected into the muscles prevents the nerves from releasing acetylcholine, which is essential in transmitting the nerve impulse from the nerve to the muscle cell.<\/span><\/p>\n

The result is muscle weakness for a temporary period, until the nerves develop other new terminations that communicate with the muscles.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

INDICATIONS IN AESTHETIC SURGERY:<\/b><\/p>\n

  • Expression wrinkles: horizontal front wrinkles; vertical wrinkles between eyebrows; external eye corner wrinkles; lower eyelid wrinkles parallel to the ciliary edge; paranasal wrinkles;<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Drooping mouth corners lift;<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Outer corner of the eyebrows lift, \u00b7 platysmal wrinkles; hyperhidrosis.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Treatment is outpatient, requires no pre-training, lasts for 15-20 minutes, is not painful; after treatment the patients can immediately return to current activities;<\/span><\/li>\n
  • The effect is set between 2-10 days, depending on the patient’s metabolism and lasts 4-6 months, after which, if the effect is to be continued, the procedure must be repeated.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Botulinum toxin does not create addiction, when the patient decides to stop treatment, the state of the expression wrinkles returns to the start of the treatment.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • In the case of hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), in the axillae, palms, treatment is done with local cream anesthesia, lasts between 30-40 minutes, the effect is set between 7-14 days and lasts 8-12 months.<\/span><\/li>\n

    • Avoid cosmetic treatment, sauna, hot baths for 7 days<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Orthostatic or seated position for at least 4 hours<\/span><\/li>\n
